The program committee welcomes proposals for the annual Graduate Music Conference to be hosted by the University of Toronto Music Graduate Students’ Association. It will take place in-person from March 7-8, 2026.
The committee invites graduate students to submit proposals for 20-minute paper presentations (with a 10-minute question period) or 30-minute lecture-recitals. We encourage the submission of papers on all genres of music and in any area of music research, including, but not limited to, musicology, music theory, ethnomusicology, performance, music education, composition, music technology, and music and health.
Abstracts for individual papers and lecture-recitals should be no more than 300 words. Applicants may include up to one page of references and one page of supplementary materials, where necessary. All abstracts will be anonymized, so please do not include any information in the abstract that could identify the author. All applications must be made through this form by Friday, December 19, 2025. If you have any questions please don’t hesitate to contact us.
