University of Central Florida seeks candidates for Graduate Assistantships in Band, Piano and Strings. Band candidates will assist with day-to-day operations of UCF Band program, assist with Athletic Band program and will focus on conducting in the MA Conducting Degree. Piano candidate will assist and then teach in class piano while pursuing an MA. String players will be consisdered for a seat in the OPUS Scholars program, where they will play with the professional Orlando Philharmonic Orchestra and as a principle with the Pegasus String Quartet. All GTA candidates require a Bachelor’s degree in music, with a preference given to music education, experience in the various disciplines sought, and ideal candidates will have teaching experience.
