The 2026 annual meeting of the Rocky Mountain Music Scholar’s Conference (a joint meeting of the Rocky Mountain Society for Music Theory and the AMS Rocky Mountain chapter) will be held at the University of Arizona in Tucson, Arizona. The meeting will take place March 27-28, 2026 as an in-person event.

All participants are required to register for this conference, and please register as soon as possible. There is no charge for students to register for this conference. For all others, early registration is $50, and late registration is $75. Late registration applies on/after March 21, 2026.
Alongside 30 paper presentations, this conference will feature a keynote presentation by Dr. Daphne Leong (University of Colorado, Boulder) entitled “What is Meter?”
