On Friday, 7 November from 12:30pm to 2pm at the joint meeting of the AMS and SMT in Minneapolis, the University of Leuven (Belgium) will be hosting an info session for anyone interested in pursuing research in Belgium. The session will take place in “Great Lakes C.”
We welcome scholars from any area of musicology or music theory to come and hear about funding opportunities at our university, as well as to learn about the current research faculty (which comprises historical musicology, music theory and analysis, and ethnomusicology). We particularly encourage early career scholars looking for doctoral and postdoctoral fellowships, but we also welcome mid-career and senior scholars interested in short-term research stays in Belgium (for sabbatical or a special project).
For more information, feel free to contact David Burn (AMS) at david.burn@kuleuven.be or John Koslovsky (SMT) at john.koslovsky@kuleuven.be. Otherwise we look forward to welcoming you to our session.
