The Graduate Music Forum provides an informal setting for graduate students in the music department to discuss ideas and concerns regarding curricula, teaching, facilities, and social life. Events and activities from recent years have included: the institution of a Digital Humanities Workshop Series; a Title XI and OSAPR training session; the Music Department Wellness Initiative; a GMF-lead workshop as part of the Undergraduate Music Curriculum Review; and a trip to Flatbreads for some candlepin bowling!
The GMF also regularly organizes conferences to share and discuss recent research with graduate students at other institutions. Please see our Conferences page for more details about these events and our past conferences as well. Please check out this page in Fall 2025 for details about our next conference dates.
